Your data is not a product. It never will be. Here is exactly how we protect it.

"The internet was built on a lie. Not a small one."
Somewhere along the way, "free" stopped meaning free. It meant your data, your habits, your life — packaged, sold, and profited from by companies you never agreed to work with. Surveillance became the business model. Privacy became the fine print nobody reads.
We built DigitalCitadel because we refused to accept that.
Privacy isn't a legal checkbox for us. It isn't a cookie banner slapped on a page to satisfy a regulator. It is the foundation everything we build stands on. Before we write a single line of code, before we design a single screen, we ask one question: does this respect the person using it?
If the answer is no, we don't build it.

Under UK GDPR, you have rights — real, enforceable ones. Not suggestions. Not optional extras. Rights.
You have the right to know exactly what data we hold about you. The right to have it corrected if it's wrong. The right to have it deleted entirely. The right to object to how it's used. The right to take it with you if you leave.
We don't make those rights hard to exercise. We don't hide the process behind a form that takes three weeks and a follow-up email. You ask, we act. Simple as that.
Your data belongs to you. It always did. We just make sure it stays that way.

We believe in radical transparency. So here it is, plainly:
What we collect:
What we never collect:
We collect the minimum. We keep it only as long as necessary. We never sell it, never share it with third parties for commercial purposes, and we never will. That is not a policy — it is a principle.

These are not aspirations. These are commitments.
We will always:
We will never:
One studio. One standard. No exceptions.

Privacy should never feel like a wall to get over. If you have a question, a concern, or a request about your data, our practices, or anything on this page — we want to hear from you.
No automated responses. No ticket system. A real person, at a real desk, who gives a damn.
Or use the contact form on our Contact Us page. We will always respond personally, and we will always take your concern seriously.
DigitalCitadel is registered under UK data protection law. Data Controller: Trevor Michael Barrett, DigitalCitadel Systems. If you believe your rights have been breached and we haven't resolved it to your satisfaction, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
